One of the big issues facing business owners in Phillip is Parking. Many business owners have said, “Public parking2 parking Business operators in Phillip sick of parking problems parking2
Servants that work in Woden arrive early in the morning, park their cars in the limited all day parking zones and also private parking spaces. They do not care what effect it then has on the Phillip Business Community.” The problem starts by the parking issues in the Woden Business area and then flows over to the Phillip Business District.

Business operators are frustrated by this issue and have been suffering from this problem for several years now. They are frustrated and do not know how to solve this issue.

Gary sent me the following message, “I work within the ACT Government and one of my roles is to help co-ordinate the government response to parking problems. The Chief Minister has asked me to make contact with you and to see what I can do to help improve parking management in Phillip. I understand that you raised some issues during the Chief Minister’s session Woden this week. I would be more than happy to come out to meet with you and other interested business owners at a time that is convenient for you.”
