Thank you for your support with our inaugural Party at the Shops, held on Thursday the 26th November. Even though mother nature wasn’t on our side, Margaret Hadfield’s Artistic Vision Studio generously hosted us for the big event.
We had over 150 visitors on the day. People were saying that the PBC is a stimulating initiative and that they are impressed with how much has been achieved in such a short time. I can only thank you for showing up and contributing towards building a brighter future in Phillip.
ACT Chief Minister, Andrew Barr, visited us for the second time and made a speech on his vision for urban renewal in Phillip.

There were so many contributing on the day and leading up to the event that made it a great success.
Thank you to sponsors Better Music for providing the sound system. Ray White Real Estate for providing the BBQ and cooks and most of all Margaret Hadfield for providing the venue at the last minute…. Becky Fleming from Kokoloco for the very entertaining Brazilian dancing routines.
Organisers Christine Jarrett from Distance Learning Australia, Serena Singh from Loan Market Mortgage Brokers and Amy Moon from Parties at the Shops all made the event a great success. Many others also contributed either on the day or before the event.
Irene Lorberg from Canberra School of Photography www.photoschool.com.au also took some magnificent photos of the day for us to record such a great event.
Sincere appreciation from the Phillip Business Community Incorporated to everyone who played a role.
